2 new associates join Brown & James

Brown & James welcomes associates Robert P. Armstrong, Jr. to its Kansas City office and Jeremy Collins to its St. Louis office.

Armstrong practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, insurance law, product liability, and professional liability. His prior experience includes serving as an assistant district attorney for Wyandotte County and as a law clerk for Jackson County, the Hon. Charles McKenzie. He gives back to the community through his service as a Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence, Kansas, as the Secretary for the Wyandotte County Bar Association, volunteering to aid local nonprofit organizations, and coaching youth sports.

Armstrong earned his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law, along with a certificate in Business and Transactional Law, and his B.A. in health and physical education from the University of Kansas.

Collins practices in the area of health care liability. His prior experience includes working as an associate attorney in Kentucky, as a legal extern at the Office of Commonwealth’s Attorney and as an intern for the Hon. A.C. McKay-Chauvin.

Collins was a Pupil for the Justice Brandeis Inn of Court and a member of the Business Law Society and Honor Society. He obtained his J.D. magna cum laude at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law and his B.S. in economics from the University of Louisville.
