The Kansas City chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units (IASIU) selected Brown & James Principal Timothy J. Wolf as its first chief counsel. The Kansas City chapter was formed in April at the approval of the IASIU’s Board of Directors.

With more than 4,000 members, IASIU is a not-for-profit organization that provides education and training opportunities with a mission to combat insurance fraud. Kansas City is the group’s 42nd chapter.

“I am honored to serve as counsel for the IASIU’s Kansas City chapter,” said Mr. Wolf. “The organization’s goal to combat insurance fraud is in perfect alignment with my desire to promote proper claims handling and investigation. I look forward to working with Chapter President Brett Green and his entire team.”

Mr. Wolf has significant experience in successfully representing insurance clients in affirmative litigation. He counsels insurers on strategies to combat insurance fraud, including claims involving staged losses and medical billing fraud.
