Abigail is an associate practicing in the firm’s Belleville, Illinois, office. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Always interested in justice and the law, she decided to pursue her J.D. following her undergraduate graduation. She was brought to the Midwest when she was accepted by Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. During law school, she interned with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in its prison litigation division, externed with the EEOC, worked as student lawyer in the Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic, and interned with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in its housing division. She is eager to begin her legal career with the experienced and esteemed attorneys at Brown & James.
