Callista Accardi is an associate with Brown & James, P.C., practicing in the St. Louis office. She practices in the area of appellate law with a specific focus on insurance law and workers’ compensation law.
A graduate of Washington University School of Law, she received the Scholar in Law scholarship, served as Community Service Chair of the Native American Law Students Association, an editor on Jurisprudence Review, and served as a member of the International Law Society and the Energy and Environmental Law Society.
Prior to law school, Ms. Accardi graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where she was Primary Programmer for the National Security Student Association, Academic Chair for her sorority, and President of the Lincoln chapter of the students’ American Copy Editor Society. Ms. Accardi has significant experience in drafting state legislation, environmental law, and Indian law.
In addition to being a new attorney, Ms. Accardi is passionate about fiction writing, the American Revolution, candlemaking, yoga, Tolkien, the Container Store, and no-kill animal shelters.
