Dan Sanchez is a senior associate with Brown & James, P.C., practicing in the firm’s St. Louis office. His practice focuses primarily on workers’ compensation cases in Missouri and Illinois. However, he also has experience in general civil litigation, defending cases involving auto accidents, homeowner liability, and prisoners’ allegations of civil rights violations. He has defended workers’ compensation claims at all stages, from initial filing to appellate oral argument.

Before joining Brown & James, Dan served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Madison County, Illinois.  He practiced primarily in the Title IV-D Child Support Division, establishing and enforcing parentage and support orders against non-custodial parents. Additionally, he prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases. Both divisions provided him with extensive experience appearing before the Court, arguing motions, and negotiating with adverse parties.

Mr. Sanchez attended college at Saint Louis University and returned to the area after graduating from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
