James is an associate in the firm’s St. Louis office. He practices in the areas of insurance law, construction law, and premises and retail liability.

A graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, he served as lead editor on the Journal of Health Law and Policy and as a teaching assistant for legal research and writing and moot court. During law school, James spent a summer interning for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Prior to law school, James spent a year working as a mental health technician and unit secretary at Center Pointe Hospital. James graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia where he served as the academic advisor for his fraternity, Tau Kappa Epsilon. He also served as the philanthropy chair of his fraternity, raising $10,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

In addition to being a new attorney, James is passionate about his dogs, improving his house, crafting/building furniture, and board games with friends.
