John McLeod is a principal at Brown & James, practicing in the firm’s St. Louis office. He practices in the areas of premises and retail liability, product liability, transportation, and insurance defense. He regularly handles cases in both state and federal courts in the State of Missouri. Mr. McLeod works on cases through all stages of litigation, from initial investigation through trial.
In addition to his role as chair of the firm’s Associate Training Committee, Mr. McLeod routinely conducts presentations for the insurance, risk management, and transportation industries on Missouri and Illinois law.
- Secured a defense verdict in a slip and fall case in Jersey County, Ill. Plaintiff claimed to have slipped in a puddle on the floor. Testimony revealed he saw workers with a mop in hand and walked past a wet floor sign. King v. Tom’s Supermarket
