Louis is a senior associate practicing in the firm’s St. Louis office. He focuses in the areas of business and commercial litigation, governmental affairs and municipal law, and workers’ compensation.
Louis grew up in Champaign, Illinois, where his mother went to law school. Growing up, Louis loved sports, especially swimming, and swam on his high school swim team and also life guarded in high school and early college. Louis graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 with a degree in legal studies and went on to use that degree in multiple family law firms, eventually realizing that he wanted to attend law school. In 2013, after receiving a full tuition scholarship from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, Louis started law school, and in 2015, he graduated from Southern Illinois University’s School of Law after keeping his scholarship all three years.
Louis has practiced in Illinois state government law, including law surrounding state agencies and municipalities, as well as litigation in federal court, Illinois state court, and the Illinois Court of Claims. Louis enjoys pro bono work and believes that it is the duty of every attorney to do as much work for those in need as possible.
