Defense Verdict in Slip and Fall at Animal Attraction Park Case

Corey Kraushaar and Thomas Felman received a complete defense verdict in Taney County in a slip and fall case at an animal attraction park. Plaintiff suffered a broken wrist requiring multiple surgeries, including installation of hardware and ligament repair, along with numbness and loss of use. Plaintiff claimed that defendant failed to give any warnings of the wet floor in the dark hallway leading to the only bathroom in the facility. Plaintiff also claimed that defendant destroyed evidence documenting the condition of the wet floor on that day. Plaintiff requested $750,000 in damages from the jury. The jury returned a complete defense verdict.
