Brown & James Principals John Cooney, Halle Dimar, and Chris Seibold were named leading litigation attorneys in the annual Benchmark Litigation 40 & Under Hot List. Cooney and Dimar practice in St. Louis, and Seibold practices in Kansas City.
The list recognizes the most notable and accomplished litigation attorneys under 40 in the country. They have been involved in recent noteworthy cases and received recommendations from clients and peers for their work.
Selection to the list includes several phases of research: review of recent case work, peer review, and client feedback.
Cooney concentrates his practice on the defense of civil lawsuits with a particular emphasis on premises liability, products liability, and the defense of uninsured and underinsured motorist cases.
Dimar’s practice focuses solely on defending health care providers, including physicians, nurses, dentists, physical therapists, nursing homes and other long-term care providers, as well as pharmacies.
Seibold focuses his practice in the areas of product liability, construction, premises liability, transportation, arson-fraud litigation, and insurance coverage.
In addition to these recognitions, Brown & James was named a top litigation firm with a “Recommended” ranking in Missouri by Benchmark Litigation for 2019, and Brad Hansmann and Phil Willman were named State Litigation Stars.
