Kara Burke and Kris Mack obtained a defense verdict in Madison County, Illinois, in a case in which a woman died of breast cancer. Kara and Kris defended a radiologist who was alleged to have misread a mammogram. The jury was asked to award damages of up to about $20 million. After deliberating about two hours, the jury came back with a defense verdict.
